Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop the sales strategy for the Dental Group sector in line with the dental channel & company objectives.
- Develop and progress TePe’s presence and activity within the dental groups across the UK territory.
- Manage accounts with administrative and promotional information.
- Liaise with the UK marketing team to develop account specific materials.
- Liaise with operations team to communicate sales forecasts and promotional plans.
- Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for growth and to produce sales insights, competitor reports, business review presentations and promotional reports
- Prepare sales presentations for customer visits.
- Identify growth opportunities within the dental channel and secure new business with new account agreements.
- Develop new relationships with prospect accounts and build a pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Grow the current existing (mainly small/med sized groups) DSO business by developing annual growth plans (in conjunction with the Head of Sales Dental)
- Assist Head of Sales Dental with projects where required.
General:
- Reports to the Head of Sales Dental.
- Works closely with Operations and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction and high levels of support.
- Undertakes specific projects as directed by the Head of Sales Dental.
- Keep up to date with knowledge of the DSO environment as well as key account strategies.
- Attend and work at Trade Shows as and when required.
- Accurate and consistent completion of CRM system (TePe CORE).
- Writing timely contact reports and monthly sales reports.
- Ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills:
- Ideally educated to degree level or 3 good A-level’s.
- Ideally will have strong knowledge of the Dental Channel and DSO’s.
- At least 2-3 year’s experience of account management within the channel.
- Strong commercial awareness / numerate.
- Strong competence in using Microsoft applications inc. Teams, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience of working with, and interpretation / analysis of sales data would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills. Clear, concise and to the point.
- Strong organizational skills / time management.
- A team player.
- Comfortable in building lasting business relationships.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to show resilience and tenacity.
- Quickly prepared to take on responsibility and accountability.
- Willingness to travel (attend shows / meetings as appropriate).
- Compatible with TePe Culture.
Salary £35,000-£39,000 plus company car
